January 11, 2016 McWEB Enhance Payroll Tax Reporting (EPTR) Released
McWEB Accounting Version 8 Enhanced Payroll Tax Reporting (EPTR) is NOW AVAILABLE. EPTR will keep McWEB Clients Current on ALL Tax Reporting Requirements. No need to order tax forms, as EPTR will print all forms on plain paper on in-house printers. Additionally forms, such as W2’s and the new ACA 1094c can be processed, printed, and mailed out of the EPTR service center.

April 7, 2014 McWEB Cloud Backup Deployed
Promethean has partnered with IDrive to provide a seamless cloud backup service, McWEB Cloud Backup. Both McWEB Cloud and In-House Servers are backed up automatically. Additional devices can be backed up on a single account, including PCs, Macs, iPhones, iPads, and Android devices. Backed up devices can also be grouped/managed by setting up sub-accounts.

The new release of McWEB Mobile is taking the ability to work securely from remote sites to a new level! Among the MANY new features is the ability to poll (or re-poll) stores from anywhere, working with the central store polling database.

Effective immediately McWEB Payroll California Reporting is compliant with the NEW quarterly reporting standards from the California EDD. This includes file transmittal in the New/Prefered XML format.

The new McWEB Crew Labor System is ready! The Crew Labor System will collect ALL employee hours directly from the time clock punches in the store. This extensive and complete database will allow quick/easy compliance with any Obamacare requests. The Crew Labor System has a number of reports for selecting and reporting on Crew Labor. The Report Writer can also be used for custom reports. Additionally there is a data export function for spreadsheet analysis (Excel, OpenOffice, etc.). McWEB Accounting is now available on ProCloud, Promethean’s Cloud Computing Environment. Clients can now be free of the costs and frustrations of maintaining an in-house server, as McWEB is now hosted in the Cloud. McWEB is now accessed via a secure internet connection. Each client is hosted on their own Virtual Private Server (VPS). The VPS is continuously optimized and data backed up, ensuring uninterrupted access, high-speed processing, and complete data security. Client’s now have secured access to McWEB from any location with an internet connection.
- May 3, 2010 – McWEB Accounting, Version 7.52 Released
A major enhancement for all McWEB Clients. The new McWEB release includes major enhancement for all modules. Additionally the whole McWEB operating environment is now fully JAVA enabled, allowing the client to seamlessly run workstations with Windows, Apple MAC, or Linux on the same network. Tablet and small device support will soon be available.
- March 15, 2007 – Distributed Payroll Processing Released
A major payroll enhancement for all Promethean Clients. Distributed processing allows for the secure processing of payroll from remote office locations. Normal employee records maintenance, time ticket entry, and reporting can now be processed at remote office locations.Access is restricted to the individual users security level, ensuring that access is only granted to those specific functions assigned the individual user. Access is also secured over Promethean’s high security VPN’s.
- November 8, 2006 – New McWeb Store Polling System Released
The new store polling system is now released. This system will automatically access the store’s ISP on a daily basis, downloading operations and payroll information. The system then transfers that information into the Payroll, Point of Sale, and Accounts Payable systems. In the event of automatic polling failure, the user can manually initiate the polling process fo any stores, for any date within the 60 day ISP data window.
